Web Editor and Database Manager: Douglas Picirillo

Douglas PicirilloWeb Editor and Database Manager Douglas Picirillo has over thirty years of general business experience with an emphasis on information and communication technologies as a senior corporate manager and consultant to Fortune 50 companies.

As a Senior IT manager for a manufacturing company, he is responsible for internal and external web sites, the IT Service Center, support tools and processes for communication and collaboration and regulatory compliance. Mr. Picirillo is also a contributing editor at Employaid.com. Although he has been part of corporate America for many years, Mr. Picirillo's entrepreneurial interests are many, including stints as a small business owner/operator. His industry experience includes retail, manufacturing, market research, direct marketing services, pharmaceuticals, banking and commercial property management. He has been an active volunteer and board member of several non-profit organizations including the ACA Board of Directors for 2008-2009 and an Advocate for Children with Compassion International since 2002. Mr. Picirillo holds a BA in Communication and Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University and a graduate certificate in Organizational Development from North Park University where he is currently pursuing a graduate business degree. Letters and interviews have been published in Computerworld, WashTech: A Voice for the Digital Workforce and others. Mr. Picirillo has participated in panels at the annual convention of the Central States Communication Association, the Congress of the Americas, the Association of Information Technology Professionals and Camp IT: Targeted Enterprise IT Conferences.
