Dr. Warren Sandmann
Dr. Warren Sandmann (Ph.D. in Communication Studies from The University of Iowa, M.A. in Speech Communication from Mankato State University; B.S. in English from Mankato State University) is Professor and faculty member in the Speech Communication Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dr. Sandmann’s research interests are in Communication and Law, Freedom of Expression, Communication Pedagogy and Argumentation. He has published numerous articles and papers in these areas. In the classroom Dr. Sandmann has started developing more courses for online students, including seminars in Communication, Culture and Sport, and Communication, Technology and Culture, with a focus on identity creation and re-creation in online environments. He is also working with colleagues on the development of an online professional development program for high school forensic coaches.
