Lori Widmer
Lori Widmer, Managing Editor, had a dubious start to her 15-year writing and editing career. She was the winner of the 1988 Pittsburgh Press Bad Writing Contest, but she's happy to report things have improved considerably since then. She is a freelance writing and editing consultant with more than 15 years of experience in a variety of genres, and has authored hundreds of business and trade journal articles. She is a former board member of the ACA and served as e-textbook editorial director for this publication. Formerly the publisher of a risk management publication, she writes frequently on risk management topics. She has a BA in Business Communications from Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA.
